![]() Fourth, I know this might sound petty, but my wife loves the robes GVR provide. The only reason we did not call to get it fixed was that a) we were tired from driving 7 hours to get to Vegas, unpacked and did to want to switch rooms if it could not be fixed, b) we closed the french doors which blocked some of the noise and c) with the noise of the thermostat still on (still at 80) the noise of the shower was greatly diminished. It was fine before I used it, but afterwards would not shut off. When we arrived back the room was warmer, but to be honest not by much. After spending a few hours in the room and still feeling cold we actually put it up to 80 degrees and left for a couple hours to meet friends from dinner. Second, the thermostat took forever to warm up the room. I felt like I was back in college living on a budget where I had little to fill my apartment. ![]() ![]() The furnishings did not fill up the room. The room was nice, large, but felt very empty. First, we were offered a suite for a discounted rate so we took it. ![]() We always have good service and enjoy our stay, but this time we were a little disappointed. We have stayed there so many times the valets know us by name. GVR is our place to stay when we don't need to be on the strip. ![]()
